Looking for a way to add flair to your event?
Create a centerpiece that draws people to your table!
Have you walked into a dining room where the tables were so beautiful you didn’t want to touch a thing?
The centerpiece you choose to adorn your table whether a wedding or a dinner party in your home has an important role. It can say much about the person hosting the event or the intended mood of the event. Take for instance seashells. Memories of a vacation spent at the beach accompany the presence of shells, sending relaxed, easy vibes through a room.
There are so many options available when creating a centerpiece. Many of us start with a piece of glassware. Next of course is what to fill the glassware with. While flowers remain popular as they give unlimited options. Flowers such as gerbers can float on the waters surface. A single stem can often have the same impact as an armful of blossoms. We offer an array of glassware that when mixed with the right flowers or candles, becomes a thing of beauty.
Candles when used in a centerpiece or in small candleholders around the centerpiece can instantly give a room or tent a warm glow. A word of advice, before deciding to use candles, remember to consider whether candles can be used safely. Open flame may be prevented in some locations, in which case all hope is not lost, you can still have your candlelight using a battery powered tealight.
Visit our showroom and take a look at “Z- lites” – a battery operated tealight. Each Z-lite will last about 36 hours and has a small on/off switch, so they can be reused. With Z-lites, you don’t have to worry about your flame being extinguished by the wind, and without an actual flame they don’t pose a threat of fire. Nothing can beat an organza covered buffet table dotted with warm candlelight!
Taper candles are still a popular choice. We offer a variety of candelabras and colorful taper candles to add a bit of tradition to your table. Floating candles can be found in many colors, shapes and sizes. One is sure to suit your event perfectly. Remember if using floating candles, fill your glassware with enough water to prevent the flame from touching the glass.
Small touches such as glass beads or colored sand can add to the look of your centerpiece. Crystals that when mixed with water, grow to resemble ice or snow is an eye- catching addition to centerpieces, complimenting both candles and flowers.
